Keeping your personal information safe and secure is a key priority. That’s why we want to notify you of some changes in readiness for the introduction of the new data protection law on 25thMay 2018.
We no longer keep any personal information about anyone who has registered for our services unless we are currently working with you on issues that have been agreed following an assessment of your need. If this is the case, you have the right to access and update the personal information we hold about you at any time by making an appointment with us to do so. When work is completed, your file will be closed and any personal information removed.
You can be assured that we do not use any personal information for any marketing or fundraising purposes; nor do we pass any personal information on to anyone unless instructed by you to do so.
As a Charity, we do need to report the work we deliver to our funders; however, we create aggregated and anonymised data from our records. That means that no-one can identify you as an individual from the data we send out.
Personal information means information that identifies you as an individual or is capable of doing so.
Aggregated data means grouped information for example total number of visits, contacts, assessments etc
Anonymised data means data which has had all personally identifiable information removed.
